Aeolus Power

Aeolus Power Ltd was formed in January 2006 by husband and wife team Peter and Christine Griffiths and the company is now a reseller/stockholder for Glasgow based Proven Energy Wind Turbines and cover the U.K. from their Bristol base.

With "Proven Energy" trained installers in all areas Aeolus Power are able to offer a first class service to all their customers for the installations of 2.5kw, 6kw and 15kw free standing Wind turbines - either grid connect or battery charging.

Nathan Billings of Capture Energy Ltd is Proven trained, based in Redruth and covering turbine installations in Cornwall. His company is also keen to offer other renewable energy installs such as Solar Thermal, Heat Pumps and Biomass.

Originally having been "Clear Skies" registered, in December 2007Aeolus Power were awarded certification by the new U.K. Microgeneration Scheme and now operate under Certificate no "MCS 1017" a Government scheme which is backed by REA.(Renewable Energy Assurance). This qualification ensures that customers who use these accredited companies are able to access the grants offered by the Government - i.e. Low Carbon Buildings Programme Grant. This grant currently offers domestic customers the sum of £2,500 off the costs of a Proven wind turbine installation - and for LEA Schools and Local Authorities there are some quite significant grants available under this scheme.
