Centrax

Centrax Gas Turbines is a long standing British company who manufacturer gas turbine driven generator sets in the 2.5 MWe to 60.0 MWe range. The generator sets are based on aero-derivative Rolls-Royce 501K industrial gas turbines and the Rolls-Royce Trent 60 gas turbine. To date more than 250 Centrax generator sets have been sold worldwide and they are used primarily for Combined Heat and Power/Cogeneration applications in many industries including Paper mills, Chemicals and manufacturing as well as in Hospitals and other critical areas for stand-by and base-load duties. Mainly natural gas fuelled, the turbines can also operate on landfill gas and other bio gasses. Centrax generator sets now have a total experience of 14 million operating hours in countries around the world. Major customers for Centrax Gas Turbines include world renowned companies such as IBM, British Petroleum, Ford, Heineken, Goodyear Tyres and Pilkington Glass.
