The Energy Institute
The Energy Institute is the leading professional body for the energy industry, providing its members with opportunities for professional recognition, career development, learning and networking. With over 13,000 individual members and 300 company members internationally, the EI serves those involved in all aspects of energy from supply and distribution to end use. A Royal Charter organisation and a registered charity, the EI holds licences from the Engineering Council (UK) and Science Council to register Chartered Engineers and Scientists and also offers registration of Incorporated Engineers and Engineering Technicians. The EI also operates the only independent Register of Energy Consultants as a service to energy users and offers training and qualifications to Energy Managers and others engaged in energy efficiency.
The EI's mission is to promote the safe, environmentally responsible and efficient supply and use of energy in all its forms and applications.
