Green 2020

Green 2020's name is based on the EU targets that businesses and government in the European Union should strive to implement by 2020; a 20% reduction in carbon emissions based on 1990 levels by 2020.

Green 2020 provides expertise in environmental management systems consultancy, real time energy monitoring, carbon foot print calculation at both organisation and product level, cost reduction and cost management solutions, retrofit technologies that manage energy use and a new breed of software applications to automate carbon calculation in the supply chain.

Green 2020 is a steering committee member of the European Supply Chain institutes's Carbon Council (www.escinst.org). Working alongside organisations such as the Carbon Disclosure Project, the International Emissions Trading Association and EU emissions trading scheme, Green 2020 will provide new thinking, strategies and solutions to reducing emissions in the supply chain.

Green 2020 very much believes that the era of being seen to be green is no longer valid and that now is the time to be truly Green.
