Getting together
and sharing best practice makes sense in all walks of life, but
never more so than when it comes to reducing carbon emissions.
Sponsored by Carbon Action Yorkshire, the Low Carbon Best Practice
Exchange, provides an effective way for executives involved
in reducing carbon emissions for their organisations to learn
from one another and so progress their own plans for carbon reduction
initiatives.
The Exchange uses a uniquely interactive format that allows
you to benefit from the experience of hundreds of other participants,
rather than simply a handful of speakers. With a programme of
over one hundred roundtable discussion groups you'll be able to
link-up with counterparts from similar organisations, many of
which will have overcome some of the challenges that you now face!
Testimonials
Building on
its reputation for low carbon leadership, last year's Yorkshire
& Humberside networking event was the largest and most comprehensive
best practice Exchange ever to be held in the UK, even out-growing
the equivalent event in London. Over 400 participants used the
structured networking facilities at the event to share best practice
and develop their plans to reduce their organisations' carbon
emissions. Many leading corporations from the region such as Asda
Stores, BUPA, Northern Foods and Yorkshire Water were represented.
Last year's event also saw increased activity from start-up companies
and university research departments developing innovative low
carbon technologies, with many using the event to explore collaboration
opportunities and link-up with potential investors
You can book an early-bird
place at the forthcoming Exchange & ensure your organisation
is represented at the premier low carbon event of the year.
