The seminar is divided into three sections; The Carbon Context What is the carbon footprint of a supply chain, how do you quantify it and where are the greatest emissions? We break it down into the areas that affect you, keep it simple and share the latest information. The Carbon Chain Where in the supply chain can I reduce the carbon impact? We share examples from other companies who have reduced their carbon footprint, who you can emulate. The Carbon Incentive What are the business reasons to address our carbon footprint? Ten positive bottom line impacts that come from reducing your green house gas emissions which you and the board can take to the bank! Each interactive session involves group exercises, facilitated debate and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. It is pitched at those new to the area of carbon footprinting and is an ideal introduction before you get more specialised advice from the afternoon sessions. It has also been a very beneficial for those who have worked in one area and are now looking to expand the scope of their carbon reduction strategy. The format of the event is morning seminar presentations, followed after lunch by a series of case-studies and interactive roundtable discussion group sessions to share experience and work with peers on how to address the challenges that lie ahead.
