TermoDeck & Thermocast from Tarmac - proven low energy buildings

In light of the Part L Regulations and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive it is now necessary for anyone in the industry to include low energy solutions in their new build plans.

Tarmac offers two solutions that reduce energy in buildings whilst increasing occupant satisfaction. These unique, highly efficient, energy saving thermal mass solutions for heating, cooling and ventilating buildings are called TermoDeck and Thermocast.

· TermoDeck is an award winning heating, cooling and ventilation system that uses hollowcore units as a vehicle for the channelling of air around the building.

· Thermocast is an innovative cooling system, with each Thermocast panel being a precast coffered concrete unit fitted with internal, pipe work through which temperature controlled water is passed to provide temperature control.

The systems utilise the thermal mass properties of concrete to act as an alternative to air conditioning. The benefits include low energy, low maintenance, reduced carbon emissions and subsequently offer significant savings on the energy costs of buildings. In addition TermoDeck circulates fresh air around the building helping to increase concentration and comfort levels for the occupants.
