The new Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) regulations will affect about 20,000 UK organisations - public and private - who pay for their electricity via a 'half-hour' meter. About 5,000 of these will be spending £500,000 or more annually on electricity, and they will be full participants in the scheme. What does this mean? Any organisation with a half-hour meter will have to report its energy use and its carbon footprint. Auditable records must be kept and there are penalties for non-compliance. Reporting starts now, but in April 2011 the 5,000 largest users will have to start paying for their CO2 emissions. The other 15,000 major users will have to keep detailed records to show they are exempt.

This webinar is launched with a detailed presentation on the timing, scope and impact of the Carbon Reduction Commitment. Learn which organisations are liable and those which can claim exemptions. Find out how much the CRC will cost your organisation - and how you could arrange to get it all back, with a bonus! You'll have twelve months to make your preparations, but don't underestimate the complexity. If you get it wrong there are penalties, directly linked to your carbon footprint.

Start the process now by booking on this webinar. It's your first step to getting CRC under control.
